Goal(s)

Product design involves the use and the dimensioning of technical components already developed by industrial partners. This is particularly true when using standard components. The aim of this course is to provide students with basic knowledge of the dimensioning of standard components for the design of mechanical products.

At the end of the course, the student is able to:

• define and dimension a system for power transmission,
• propose and dimension technical solutions for connections in mechanisms
• dimension standard components (screw, bearings, gears, etc.)

Responsible(s)

Stephane GUILLET
