Stress and scarce attention are the main causes of work accidents in industry and they affect workers’ performance. Physical, physiological, psychological aspects related to stress have already been studied through the analysis of biometric data, but they have never been integrated with neuro-physiological/psycological data.
No-Stress captures the motion of workers while performing manufacturing tasks, by real time collecting neurophysiological parameters and interacting voice assistance to gather reactions and feedbacks.The causes of stress will be identified by analyses of workers' data to redesign the work environment with a human-centered approach focused on worker well-being. The project will develop a monitoring system for manufacturing companies to improve their working conditions and production efficiency.
Capture motion data
The NO-STRESS project captures the motion data, neurophysiological parameters and voice assistance data from workers, while performing manufacturing tasks, to gather reactions and feedbacks. Monitoring system
The project will develop a monitoring system for manufacturing companies to improve their working conditions and production efficiency. This would imply moving from current physical assistance provided by the Business Owner to a platform-based monitoring system with tools all aimed to workers’ well-being. Over time, the technology integration, performed by this project, would imply personalizing on types of workers and tasks, up to aiding the design of collaborative or digital technologies in Manufacturing.
