One of the main aims of our Club is to get you to discover Grenoble and its magnificent surroundings. In collaboration with the Students' Union, we participate in numerous events such as 'Rallye-Ville' where you can discover the city of Grenoble through various games and stands, 'Olympiades' where all the Engineering Schools in Grenoble get together for various sports competitions, hiking on the Bastille Mountain or on other nearby mountain ranges.
Whilst waiting for the first snow falls, there is time to watch football and rugby matches in the new stadium (Stade des Alpes) or become a fan of the local ice hockey team (Brûleurs de Loups).
Grenoble is a very sporty town with many possibilities to get moving: rollerblading, squash, laser-games, kart racing, paintball, bungee jumping, paraskiing, paragliding and lots more.... you will be sure to find something that interests you.
The Grenoble Institute of Technology's Sports Department also has lots of different activities on offer as well as the University of Grenoble.
Once winter has finally settled in, it is possible to get good reductions from local ski schools so that you can make the most of three ski resorts less than an hour from the city. In the spring time, you can still make the most of the three mountain ranges near Grenoble (Belledonne, Vercors and Chartreuse) by going hiking, climbing, biking, rafting or canyoning. So what are you waiting for? Get your skis ready and we're off!
