Goal(s)
New products are developed from reliable industrial processes. This course deals with several types of techniques which are essential in supporting integrated design approaches: selection of materials, Design of Experiments, product architecture and Design for Assembly.
The global aim is that you can make profit of these techniques during the development of your design activities, especially in "Plateau Projet". It is in the continuity of other techniques you may have seen in fall semester, e.g. rapid prototyping, functional analysis and product risk management (FMEA). All of this should help you in driving your product development projects in a reliable way.
