Master the challenges of Reliability and Maintenance Management

• In operation: management and optimisation of industrial maintenance
• During design: forecasting the reliability or availability of systems
• During service: build reliability databases
• For Safety: forecast and manage risks

• 4.5 hours (lectures/tutorials): management of industrial maintenance
• 3 hours (practical work): software for computer aided maintenance management
• 13.5 hours (lectures/tutorials): dependability analysis methods & maintenance optimisation
• 3 hours (lectures): a standard for safety relevant system development
• 3 hours (practical work): software for fault tree analysis

• 9 hours of monitored case studies

Continuous assessment (CC) = reports on case study

E1 = Final written exam from 1st exam period - duration 3 hours
E2 = Oral exam from 2nd exam period

N1 = Final mark from 1st exam period
N2 = Final mark from 2nd exam period

N1 = 0,5*CC + 0,5*E1
N2 = E2
