Goal(s)
This course has been set up to introduce Project Management concepts to students considered as beginners in this discipline.
The objective is to provide an overview of the Project Management process and on the associated techniques used to prepare, organise and lead a project.
At the end of the course, the students are expected to understand what is the Project Manager role and what are the key Project Management sub-processes.
Content(s)
The course is organised along 4 main modules (10 sessions of 3h ):
1. Project planning: Project Management main concepts, organising and planning a project.
2. Risk Management: managing uncertainties and risks all along the project course.
3. Project Execution: executing the project, controlling and monitoring the progress.
4. A project inside a company: defining PM role, organisation and governance aspects
During each module, business cases are introduced and are used to provide insights on the main Project Management processes.

Evaluation will be performed through:
. individual exams at the end of each module (x4)
. implementation on a business case by group of 3-4 people
Final grade will be calculated based on:
. 60% on individual exams marks
. 40% on group business case mark
