Goal(s)
The programme addresses the need for integrating technical skills with entrepreneurial and sustainability skills in the manufacturing sector. ?It aims to prepare participants for future challenges by fostering innovation, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. ?The programme adds value by promoting competitiveness, green practices in manufacturing.? It goes beyond the state-of-the-art by integrating innovative teaching and learning methodologies, such as challenge-based learning and self-directed learning assessment.
By participating in this program, students will have the opportunity to broaden their network with potential European partners and gain a competitive edge in the industry, while also developing an understanding of some key challenges in the manufacturing industry.
The program is designed to be hands-on and interactive, with students working in teams to develop and pitch sustainable solutions to real-world industrial challenges. The program culminates in a final prize giving ceremony at the end of the program, where teams will pitch their solutions and be evaluated by a panel of experts.
Content(s)
The topic, scope, content and place of the summer school is to be defined each year by the EIT Manufacturing master school. Usually duration is between 2 and 3 weeks, with hybrid format (1 week online, 2 weeks in face-to-face)
