Goal(s)
Master more precisely the notions of change management, change support, and transformation, particularly in the current global context
Better understand the logic and levers of transformation in companies and organizations in general, and particularly around collective dynamics
Ensure as best as possible the success of the transformations to be carried out, by relying on the methods and tools acquired within the School, on the vision that the student will have constructed, and on his/her understanding of the team dynamics principles
Content(s)
After broadening their point of view by watching a few videos before the course, students will be asked to choose a business case from 3 proposed. They will work as a group (management committee then project team) to develop the strategy of this entity, then its transformation strategy, in order to succeed in the chosen transformation until its concrete implementation.
The course will be based on the following sequence:
- why transform: transformation of strategy, external constraints, internal needs
- what is transformation : transforming means modifying operations, right down to actions on the ground: from strategy to implementation; the method counts as much as the objective in producing the result
- how to transform: supporting the transformation means starting from the point where the supported entity comes from ; take into account all the elements of the system, throughout the transformation and even in anticipation
The work will be carried out in groups, based on scenarios and role plays, and using a problem-based educational approach.
Theoretical content will be provided according to the situations encountered. Industrial speakers will come to illustrate the course with their experience of transformation
The knowledge acquired in numerous courses in previous years will be used for the development of the strategy by the group, and for its implementation (sociology, economics and management, but also information systems, project management. ..)
40%: individual production on learning carried out during the experiment
20%: quality of work of the group
20%: individual production on taking a step back from the work of the group
10%: results achieved in the transformation led by the group
10%: talk linked with prepared work
