Goal(s)
At the end of this course, the student will be able to
- Develop skills related to the GI referencial and therefore associated with a one of the fields of knowledge of industrial engineering school.
- Develop its capacity for innovation, design, implementation, modeling, design, etc. Possible to integrate an entrepreneurial dimension.
- Demonstrate ability to work on a complex subject. Design approach based on knowledge and skills, and design competencies and imagination.
- Mobilising equipment, technological platforms and software tools available in the school and its environment.
- Realise a development (invent, discover, try, etc.). This is a deepening of the subjects developed during 1A, so be aware to mobilize resources.
- Find its place in a collective: indeed, an individual work and individual skill have to be develop in a collective achievement.
- Learning to evaluate, comment, criticize work
Content(s)
Working group sessions (3 students) during the Semester 2 (some half days booked). These sessions will be dedicated to the definition of the problem and associated provisional schedule and ressources. This period must be used to choose one professor tutor and to define completly the subject and the final deliverable.
1 week of intensive work after the examination week of the semester 2, to complete the project, design a manufacture the demonstrator.
PrerequisitesAll the courses of the first year industrial engineering school can be potentially used
50% : dliverable presentation in detail (with démonstration and manipulation if there is) : LIV
50% : evaluation of the oral presentation (10 minutes presentation + 10 minutes questions) : SOUT
0,5 * SOUTENANCE + 0,5 * LIVRABLE
