To master the language and the various techniques of oral communication (to debate, to express an opinion,
a recommendation…)
Methodology: The need for not only cultural sensitivity but intercultural intelligence has never been greater. Language skills are only an advantage, but effective communication is a real competitive advantage not only with language, but also understanding attitudes, values, motivations and behaviors of other cultures.
A great focus will be added to written English. Students will learn how to organize an essay with coherent paragraphs on an event addressing cultural, economic or social problems, respecting the codes of organization of the paragraphs and the discourse.
Autonomous preparation for library and language laboratory tests (semester 1: BULATS) - Level B1 minimum
Continuous assessment - you will not be able to catch this up: program activities, assiduity and participation in classroom and language laboratory, control of acquisitions
Assessment session 1 (E1) = written exam: oral and written document comprehension, essay, vocabulary exercises and grammar.
Assessment session 2 (E2) = written exam: oral and written document comprehension, essay, vocabulary exercises and grammar.
N1 = final note session 1
N2 = final note session 2
N1 = 30% E1 + 70% CC
