Master in Industrial Engineering: Sustainable Industrial Engineering program
International program with specific fees
Environmental challenges require to rethink our industrial approaches to limiting the impact on future generations. The Sustainable Industrial Engineering program aims to provide cutting-edge knowledge on the themes of industrial organization, modeling and simulation of production systems by adopting an interdisciplinary approach combining social sciences and engineering. This program is a unique opportunity to work in a multi-cultural context with motivated teams to discover the latest developments in advanced industrial engineering.
This English-speaking program offers one major oriented towards operations management and one oriented towards product development.
It is also possible to choose between a research focus that facilitates access to a doctoral curriculum or an industrial orientation allowing access to industry at the end of the Master’s.

Through this program we aim to provide students with tools to contribute to a more sustainable industry with a strong emphasis on handling of complexity of human centric organizations.

Sustainable Operations Management Major (SOM)
The Sustainable Operations Management Major investigates the key domains that will give the students tools to deal with these challenges and provides a systemic and interdisciplinary understanding of the situation. Major topics are sustainable supply chain management, data analytics, operational excellence, socio-economic aspects of sustainability for industry 4.0.

Sustainable Products Development Major (SPD)
The sustainable development of industrial products course studies the key areas that will give students the tools to face these challenges and provide a systemic and interdisciplinary understanding of the situation. The main topics are sustainable design, data analysis, innovation, advanced manufacturing, socio-economic aspects of sustainability for Industry 4.0.

Programmes internationaux d'excellence :
Grenoble INP - Industrial Engineering offers 5 specific programmes with partner institutions. Students accepted into these partner programmes are integrated into the SIE Master's programme.
These programmes offer them the opportunity to study at partner universities, share courses with European institutions or win prizes for excellence....
