This course aims at providing guidance for :

• searching and choosing an industrial master thesis project
• collecting scientific references for the master thesis
• designing and delivering the master thesis report and presentation

Searching and choosing an industrial master thesis project :

• searching former industrial trainings reports in Grenoble INP school
• defining a master project proposal
• looking for companies that could support the project - Elaborating selection criteria
• social networks for searching positions (Facebook, LinkedIn, Viadeo, Grenoble INP website)
• elaborating CV and presentation letter.

Business Forum with companies

• Searching process (number of proposals, e-mail, scheduling, F2F meeting)

Collecting scientific references for the master thesis :

• Industrial enginneering department library, searching google, SICD1, google scholar.

Designing and delivering the master thesis report and presentation :

• structure of a scientific report.
• usual Word Processor and scientific references (MSWord and endnote)
• including figures, charts and pictures.

Nothing else but strong personal objectives.
