Goal(s)
This course offers advanced training in architecture based on complex systems and requires a good mastery of the fundamentals and tools of model-based systems engineering (score > 12 at IFIS IS in 1A). Students should be able to define their own system architecture framework (system engineering process and method, processes, modelling language, modelling software, modelling method).
Content(s)
The program detailed below may evolve depending on the level of the students:
- Lecture Systems Architecting (SE) - 1.5h (1 session)
- Exercise Systems Architecting (SE) - 3h (2 session)
- Lecture Model-Based Systems Architecting (MBSE) - 1.5h (1 session)
- Lecture Object Process Methodology (OPM) - 1.5 hours (1 session)
- Tutorial Object Process Methodology - 1.5h (1 session)
- Lecture System Modeling Language (SysML) - 1.5h (1 session)
- Tutorial System Modeling Language (SysML) with Catia Magic - 6h (4 sessions)
- Case study - 12h (8 session)
- Case study oral evaluation - 3h (2 sessions)
Follow IFIS in first year and obtain a score greater than 12/20 in systems engineering
Evaluation session 1 = 50% Individual exam & 50% Group case study
Evaluation session 2 = 100% written or oral exam
